Petrol Price increase coming on the 4th of March

The price of petrol will be increased by 45c a litre on Wednesday the 4th of March. The announcement came from the department of minerals and energy on Friday.

The 45c increase follows the 61c increase from last month. Although petrol has become more expensive, it was reported that diesel will drop by 38c per litre.

Paraffin will decrease by 26c, along with illuminating paraffin which will drop by 34c per litre.

A major factor in the petrol price increase is because of the Rand weakening against the US Dollar.
