Spy Shots: New Fiat Uno caught testing in Brazil
These latest spy shots reveal that Fiat are apparently working on a new Uno which is currently codenamed Project 327. The spy images here taken in Brazil, where Fiat has a big share in the market for automobiles. The new Uno will be launched as a 2011 model, and it should – for the first time – feature airbags as standard equipment.
It was said that the new Uno will have the same platform as the Panda model, and this means that there should be three and five-door models, similar to the previous generation version. There will however be different interiors, as the European version will have an interior matching that of the 500, while other markets will have an interior similar to that of the Palio.
Jorge Fernandez has also rendered an image of the new Uno, and he used a 500 model as a basis for his design.
Fiat should sell the Uno alongside the 500, Panda and Grande Punto. If the demand is there, we might also see a new Uno Turbo model. However, there is also a chance that Fiat might change the name of the Uno.

Yes new fiat uno. I will waiting for new uno turbo abarth. I have got an abarth 1,5T 1991. mk2 fiat uno.

They have the 500 Abarth though!
Why? In the past the panda and the uno was a minicar in the fiat at 1980s.
And the uno has got turbo but the tipo hasn’t got turbo and the tipo is a medium car.
Who knows what the future holds. We’ll probably see a load of turbocharged Unos, hopefully one will be high performance, else someone can just modify it, I guess.
