AVUS Performance tunes the Audi A5 Coupe into a Matte Black Beast

Okay, so recently there has been a load of chit-chat about a name from this tuning company called AVUS Performance. The tuning firm recently launched a modified Audi RS6 Avant which was dubbed “WHITE POWER“.

Now most of the sites online went quite mad about this name, they all wrote about it as if it was the next hot topic to hit the web.. Well, to be honest it’s weird, as we live in a country which apparently has a racism problem, and I for one don’t feel that a car name can actually mean that much to upset someone?

Lets be realistic about this, the car is white, and it’s powerful, whether or not it was a translation error, it doesn’t matter. It’s a name for a freaking car.

Anyway, enough about that model.

AVUS Performance have now released a new model which now comes in black. Matte black to be exact. The car is called The Audi A5 Coupe Matte Black. Oh, the name has black in it — racist.

Never mind that.

The new Matte BLACK model from Avus Performance features a range of visual upgrades which include a new grille, mirror covers and rear diffuser covered in this finish, as well as set of 21-inch Jofiel black Limited Edition wheels, and a set of S5 LED tail lights.

The 3.0-litre TDI diesel engine has also had its ECU upgraded to push out 275-hp with 600Nm of torque.
