Lexus IS F Convertible – Coming in 2011 With A V8 Engine

Reports have suggested that Lexus are working on a new IS C convertible that will be powered by a 5.0-litre V8 engine with the drivetrain from the IS F. Lexus will then target the launch for 2011 where it will rival cars such as the M3 Cabriolet.

The Lexus Convertible is already out overseas and it features a F-Sport package that includes 19-inch wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, sway bars and high-flow intake. The IS Convertible F Sport model will have a few weight saving techniques as it will need to feature the heavy V8 with a new eight-speed gearbox.
